Habitat of the West Valley Home Facts

• HFHWV meets or exceeds the national standards of the for-profit building community.

• HFHWV builds with energy efficient standards

• All HFHWV homes are between three and five bedrooms with a minimum of two bathrooms; our town homes are two stories and are between two and four bedrooms.

• The average costs of the homes range between $110,000 and $180,000; well below the average values of the homes (costs are subject to change without notice).

• Volunteers and future homeowners perform most of the labor on Habitat homes including all carpentry, roofing, siding, interior trim, painting, and landscaping. Habitat usually hires subcontractors for the site and foundation work, HVAC and stucco.

• The homes reflect the style of the neighborhood in which they are built.
